Why should you track your landing page or URL online?

Are you looking for an effective way to measure your online marketing campaigns? If so, read on, you should consider using tracking URLs, using a UTM builder.

What does this actually mean?

This means when you are promoting a landing page or page URL for your marketing, direct or email emails you should add some parameters (set of set by Google Analytics, Adobe Omniture or another tracking solution, plus variable set conditions from the company side at URL level) with an end goal to monitor activity and it’s progress.

Tracking URLs are a great way to monitor the performance of your campaigns, as well as measure the success of your online marketing efforts such as measuring Conversion Rates, CPA, ROI or profit margins.

Tracking URLs enable you to gain insights into how your campaigns are performing and the kinds of results you are getting from your efforts. By using tracking URLs, you can track clicks, conversions, referrals, and more. This data can be used to make informed decisions about how to optimize your campaigns for the start of the conversion journey all the way to an end goal such as a lead or sale for better results.

Tracking URLs can be used to understand the effectiveness of different campaigns. For example, you can compare the performance of different campaigns to see which one is more successful.  For example, you may want to analyze how landing page 1 compares to versus landing page 2. Or even how ad targeting young females entrepreneurs compares to female dog lovers, with data you can make informed decisions. This can help you determine which campaigns are working and which ones you should focus on. Additionally, tracking URLs can be used to analyze the performance of specific keywords and phrases in your campaigns. This data can help you optimize your campaigns to target more relevant customers.

Tracking URLs can be used to measure the effectiveness of your marketing efforts over time. For example, you can use tracking URLs to see how your campaigns have performed over a certain period of time. This data can be used to make adjustments to your campaigns as needed.
